Polypharmacy: Reducing Unnecessary Medications Safely
Polypharmacy — the concurrent use of 5 or more medications — is one of the most consequential clinical challenges in geriatric medicine, affecting an estimated 40% of adults aged 65 and older in the United States (CDC, National Center for Health Statistics). How it works
